Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic denies that Manchester United made contact over the summer to debate Kingsley Coman.
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has denied that Manchester United made contact with the Bundesliga giants over the summer to debate Kingsley Coman.
The France worldwide had reportedly been recognized by United as a possible different to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho during the recent switch window.
Nevertheless, in keeping with Salihamidzic, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s team didn’t approach the German champions, who wouldn’t have thought of any offers for the 24-year-old.
“There was nothing, and we wouldn’t have looked into it either,” the Bayern chief advised Bild. “His goal in the Champions League final should explain enough why we are relying on him wholeheartedly.”
Coman, who has a contract on the Allianz Area till the summer of 2023, has featured twice for the treble winners on the start of the 2020-21 campaign.
United signed Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri on switch deadline day, whereas Amad Diallo will arrive at Outdated Trafford from Atalanta BC in January.
