Chelsea, Manchester City ‘keeping tabs on David Alaba’

Chelsea and Manchester City apparently stay amongst a variety of clubs who are keeping track of David Alaba’ s contract situation at Bayern Munich.

Chelsea and Manchester City apparently stay interested in attempting to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba

While the Austria international is considered a key man at the Allianz Arena, the versatile player has less than a year left on his contract.

Although Bayern are keen to keep hold of the 28- year-old, they are not likely to be prepared to lose out on a fee for his signature.

According to The Telegraph, that has led to Chelsea and Man City continuing to keep track of the situation ahead of a capacity approach.

Provided their particular problems at centre-back and left-back, the acquisition of Alaba would represent a considerable coup for either of the Premier League giants.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a quote during the summer window.
