Chelsea ‘scrambling to offload players on deadline day’

    Chelsea are apparently looking to perform a deadline day clear- out with the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Marcos Alonso, Victor Moses and Emerson Palmieri up for sale.

    Rudiger has been linked with a loan switch to Air Conditioner Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Roma, while Alonso has fallen back new arrival Chilwell in the chain of command.

    Other fringe players such as Emerson Palmieri and Danny Drinkwater are also readily available to leave Stamford Bridge ahead of tonight’s deadline.

    Chelsea have actually raised more than ₤ 65m from player sales already this summer, with the bulk of that originating from Alvaro Morata‘s move to Atletico Madrid.
