Orlando Pride star Alex Morgan and Orlando City captain Nani joined the “Real Heroes Project” effort today, partnering with professional athletes from throughout 14 expert sports leagues to appreciation workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Star professional athletes will commit their uniforms and jerseys to emphasize health care workers in their neighborhoods.
Nani is among 3 MLS players to join the effort, in addition to Los Angeles Galaxy striker Chicharito and U.S men’s national team star Jozy Altidore. Morgan signs up with the project in addition to U.S. women’s national colleague Carli Lloyd.
With their jersey homages, Nani and Morgan will highlight Dr. Raymond Franklin and Dr. Steve Chung. The set work for Orlando Health and have actually utilized their pathology and lab teams to develop a COVID-19 test that offers a result within hours.
