Raul Jimenez has declined to commit his long-term future to Wolverhampton Wanderers regardless of signing a new contract at Molineux earlier this month.
The 29-year-old was linked with the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Liverpool over the summer after a dazzling 2019-20 campaign saw him score 27 times in all competitions.
Jimenez has branded the speculation surrounding a possible exit “just rumours”, however the Mexico international has again opened the door to a move far from the club in among the upcoming transfer windows.
“I was on my days off, on holiday, and every day that I woke up I was at a new club. It was just rumours, that’s it. I’m happy here and happy to stay here,” Jimenez informed Sky Sports News.

“If I stay, I’m very happy and I’m going to keep playing the same. If I have to leave, well it’s going to be part of it. We are professional football players and it is part of our life.”
