The 24-year-old has satisfied for the Whites in the early phases of the 2020-21 campaign and has also worked his way into the England established, making caps against Wales, Belgium and Denmark this month.
Phillips only signed a new long-term deal with Marcelo Bielsa‘s side last September and still has 4 years left to run on his present contract with last season’s Championship winners.
Nevertheless, according to The Mirror, Phillips is expected to stimulate a scramble at the end of the season, and both Tottenham and Liverpool remain in the hunt for the ₤ 50m-rated midfielder.
